Here is Abbie's wish list for Christmas '08. She found a fill-in form on one of her websites, and then printed it up in triplicate (one for me, one for Chip, one in case one of us loses ours) I'm afraid there will be one sad little girl on Christmas morning. Though we might be able to pull off getting her a room of her own this year. Not a big one though. I adore the spellings.
The cabinet doors on the entertainment unit are adorned with a smiley face and hair, compliments of Abbie. One of the handles acts as a nose. I like that. Functionality incorporated in the design. I'm not certain why her hair goes so far to the right. The cabinets contain albums in vinyl form, so I suspect she is smiling at how old school we are, to have such things.

Lukas got a trick yoyo for his birthday, and has been practicing tricks ever since. Check out his skills in the video below, and make sure to turn up the sound for the "grand finale".
Abbie was mad at me recently, because I told her it was time to stop playing a computer game. Okay, it was on PBSkids.org, but still, five-year-olds don't need to be computer zombies, right? She huffed and puffed for a while, but then cheered up and announced that since she couldn't use my computer, she'd make her own! It's very energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
