Today, we were informed by Abbie that there would be a wedding after lunch, and we were invited. Abbie's favorite stuffed dog, Beads was to be betrothed to another stuffed animal, Spot. The scandalous part is that Beads and Spot just met this morning!!! At the appropriate time, Lukas, Chip and I shuffled into Abbie's room for the ceremony. There was a slight delay because the blanket was not laid out quite to the liking of the Justice of the Peace, but after that, the wedding went off without a hitch. At the Justice's request, the audience hummed the wedding march. Take special note of Bead's veil in the photos below (made of a pipe cleaner and a white paper towel), and enjoy the video of the ceremony and slow dance that followed. The wedding happened about 20 minutes ago, but just now, Abbie came to me here and said, "Beads is going to have puppies!" Wow...that was fast, or perhaps a shotgun wedding??
